Karriärdagen syftar till att skapa en mötesplats mellan arbetssökande och företag från Uppsalas näringsliv.
Ett samarbete mellan Sirius Fotboll, utbildning- och jobbcenter samt Uppsalas näringsliv. Syftet med Karriärdagen är att skapa en mötesplats mellan arbetssökande samt företag från Uppsalas näringsliv i en neutral och avslappnad miljö. Karriärdagen är tänkt att fungera som ett alternativ till traditionell vägledning, en möjlighet att träffa riktiga yrkespersoner som kan berätta om sitt yrke och dela med sig av sin personliga resa samtidigt som företagen är där för att rekrytera.
Efter Karriärdagen i mars föregående år fick vi ut hela 29 personer i arbete.

Det är kostnadsfritt att vara med som företag men man måste ha någon form av rekryteringsbehov eller information om yrkesvägledning, utbildning och praktikplatser.
Inbjudan Karriärdagen 2025
Det var rekordstort deltagande med runt 250 personer som besökte Karriärdagen 2023!
"Målet är att hjälpa människor ut i arbete. Vi har många kontakter i näringslivet i Uppsala, och eftersom vi bedrivit verksamheten i Gränslös Fotboll sedan 2012 har vi också goda kontakter i våra mindre resursstarka områden. Det är något vi vill utnyttja för att dra vårt strå till stacken."

Historik
I oktober 2018 gick den första Karriärdagen av stapeln i Gottsunda. Arbetssökande ungdomar sammanfördes med företag i en neutral och avslappnad miljö för att skapa nya kontaktytor och öka deltagarnas kunskaper om arbetsmarknaden.

Den 23 oktober 2019 hölls den andra upplagan av Karriärdagen i Gottsunda. Efter att första året ha riktat sig specifikt mot arbetssökande ungdomar var målgruppen nu bredare, och deltog gjorde ett 50-tal arbetssökande i alla åldrar från 18 och uppåt.
Efter ett uppehåll under pandemin anordnades den tredje upplagan av Karriärdagen den 28 februari 2022 på Studenternas. Den fjärde upplagan hölls den 23 mars 2023, och då slogs det deltagarrekord med över 250 arbetssökande på plats! 2024 gick det från att vara en Karriärdag till att bli två Karriärdagar, en i mars och en i november. Efter Karriärdagen i mars slogs det rekord med att hela 29 personer kom ut i arbete!
